Gaga Set to Storm Grammy Awards

Lady Gaga may storming the awards ceremonies on the acting scene this year, but she is still a considerable force in the music industry. The 24 time Grammy nominee has been a Grammy regular for years, and she isn’t stopping any time soon!

Lady Gaga, real name, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta has already got six Grammys on her mantelpiece, and could potentially leaving with five more on Sunday, but before we get overly excited on how good “11-time Grammy winner Lady Gaga” sounds, let’s take a quick look at what she’s already got in her trophy case, shall we?

Over 10 years ago, before the idea to remake ASIB was a twinkle in Bradley Cooper’s eye, Lady Gaga took home Grammys for Best Dance Recording for “Poker Face” and Best Electronic/Dance Album for The Fame.

Given that 10 years later “Poker Face” is still an absolute tune, time has shown that the Recording Academy made the right call.

More often than not, it takes artists years to win major awards in multiples, but Gaga just ploughed on through, racking up Grammys like it was it was nobodies business She won Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for “Bad Romance” (also a banger), Best Pop Vocal Album for The Fame Monster, and Best Short Form Music Video for “Bad Romance.” She’s probably had worse nights.

The newest Grammy that Gaga has in her arsenal actually came from five years ago, since most of her Joanne era was remarkably unrecognized. She and Tony Bennett won it for their iconic collaboration.

At the Grammy Awards this Sunday, Lady Gaga is up for five new Grammys—four for “Shallow” from her very A-list movie, and one for Best Pop Solo Performance for Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?). Little Monsters, that means it’s time to keep your fingers firmly crossed.

Due to the incredible reaction A Star is Born received, it would be no surprise to see ‘Shallow’ take home all it’s nominations, especially given that Gaga and co-star Bradley Cooper will be performing the hit duet LIVE at the ceremony!

All in all, we absolutely love Gaga and are crossing our fingers she smashes the awards! If you’re a Gaga fan and want some Gaga magic at your big event, check out our amazing tribute acts to her, by clicking HERE!
